Michele Rogalsky retiring from role as director of U of M School of Agriculture

When the school year wraps in June, so too will Michele Rogalsky’s time as director of the University of Manitoba’s School of Agriculture.

“I have enjoyed serving in this capacity and am looking forward to retirement,” she says in an email, announcing her retirement. “This position provides many  opportunities to shape ag education and training in Manitoba and collaborate with other ag leaders. The University is an exceptional employer and the School has a very strong team of dedicated and passionate ag leaders.”

As Rogalsky heads for retirement, the search is now on for her replacement.

The director of the school is expected to lead student recruitment strategies to promote and grow the diploma program and continue the implementation and upgrading of the new diploma curriculum, including developing and delivering short course offerings.

The role is posted on the University of Manitoba’s Careers page.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday, May 3rd.
