Trimble Ag launches Virtual Farm to tackle day-to-day roadblocks

Trimble has launched Virtual Farm, an interactive online platform for farmers across the world to immerse themselves in precision agriculture.

Users walk through a digital farm in this online tool, and identify common challenges they encounter on a day-to-day basis. From there, farmers are directed to Trimble’s connected solutions for each challenge and are paired with a Trimble Ag representative to identify the best solutions for their farm.

Jake Ridenour, regional development manager at Trimble Agriculture, was on hand at the National Farm Machinery Show to showcase the new platform. He says although historically Trimble is an engineering team that builds products that fill needs for growers, but with this latest announcement, that has changed.

“What we’re doing with Virtual Farm is we’re digging deeper into the problems that growers face every day on the farm. So we talk about those issues, talk about other issues that we’ve heard from other regions, and we can apply Trimble products directly to those individually,” says Ridenour.

With no cost for the program, producers can register by visiting https://agriculture.trimble.com/virtualfarm/
