CropConnect ’22 cancelled

Organizers of the CropConnect Conference say that extensions of public health orders in Manitoba have pushed the committee to cancel the 2022 conference.

“We were looking forward to reconnecting with everyone, but the health and safety of our attendees and exhibitors are our top priority. The hosting committee, made up of representation from your provincial commodity associations, have deemed that the reduced venue capacities make this event fiscally irresponsible to host,” says the organizing committee in a statement.

CropConnect was scheduled for February 16 and 17 in Winnipeg, Man.

Organizers say all registered attendees and sponsors will be contacted by email to process refunds, but are asked to contact the hotel to cancel rooms associated with the conference.

The annual general meetings that were slated to be held in conjunction with the in-person event will now be held virtually. Pre-registration is required.

Please note below that AGM times have changed:

Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers – February 16 @ 9:00 AM
Manitoba Oat Growers – February 16 @ 1:00 PM
Manitoba Canola Growers – February 17 @ 9:00 AM
Manitoba Crop Alliance – February 17 @ 1:00 PM

For more information regarding Annual General Meetings, please reach out to each commodity group individually.
