New purpose-built dozer blade attachment hits market from Brandt Agricultural Products

Brandt Agricultural Products has recently launched a new purpose-built dozer blade attachment, suitable for 4WD tractors.

The new unit is available in a variety of blade widths, heights and lugging configurations, designed to make it easy for farmers to find the right blade for their operation.

The goal of this product-line addition is to enable farmers to get more work done with their equipment, while giving their ag dealer network the opportunity to deliver more value for their customers without further complicating their supply chain.

Sheldon Gerspacher, vice president of sales for Brandt Agricultural Products, says that Brandt has a long track record of excellence in the construction attachments business, and now they’re bringing that expertise to the farmyard as well.

“Brandt’s got decades-long experience building attachments for the construction industry and the forestry industry, so for us it was a natural fit to extend the product line to our agricultural customers,” says Gerspacher.

Production of the new blade was launched in mid-October and the first shipments should have arrived in mid-November at dealerships. The new blade is available internationally, but as Gerspacher says, not all 4WD tractors will be compatible.

“This blade was developed primarily for silage applications, landscaping or ditching applications, as well as snow removal,” says Gerspacher. Brandt talked to customers across North America to see what they looked for in a blade, and came up with an attachment that is both easy to use and easy to take off the tractor when not in use.

The new blade is construction grade and heavy duty, ready for agricultural use.
