Take this job and automate it!

If I want it done right, I’ll do it myself.

Is that a phrase that you often say or think as a farmer? Delegation is a learned skill and one that doesn’t always come easily, especially if you’re used to working independently. On a recent Farmer Rapid Fire segment over on RealAg Radio, host Shaun Haney asked farmers: “If you could delegate one job on the farm to a robot, what would it be?” (poll is below)

The answers vary from tedious paperwork and administration, to marketing, to night checks on livestock and more, but the common theme is to take some stress out of the day and help farmers focus on the parts of farming they enjoy, or allow them some much needed rest or down time.

What would you automate, if you could? Vote in our poll below!
