If you farm in Saskatchewan, mark your calendars for “Growing Agriculture: 2020 Saskatchewan Provincial Election Forum” set for the week of October 19 to 25, 2020.
Moderated and hosted by our own Shaun Haney, the question and answer program is brought to you by Access Communications, Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS), and Saskatchewan Farm Stewardship Association, and is sponsored by Saskatchewan Egg Producers, Saskatchewan Pork Development Board, Saskatchewan Wheat Development Commission, and Saskatchewan Irrigation Projects Association.
Viewers will get a chance to hear from candidates representing the Sask Party, NDP, and Liberals on top agriculture issues, such as access to rural broadband, the vision for agriculture over the next 20 years, farm support, and more.
“This forum is a great way to highlight the importance of Saskatchewan agriculture leading up to the provincial election,” says APAS president and Growing Agriculture panelist Todd Lewis. “Good agricultural policy is crucial if agriculture is to remain the driver of our economy, and we need our political candidates to understand that.”
Growing Agriculture: 2020 Saskatchewan Provincial Election Forum will be available online at www.realagriculture.com, and will also air on AccessNow TV community channels from October 19th to 25th.
