New mid-range Fendt tractor hits North American market

AGCO is bringing forth the fourth generation of Fendt 300 Vario tractors to North America.

The 300 Vario tractors are light while still bringing power, which make them a great fit for hay and livestock production, field work, and general farm use.

The tractor will be offered in four models — ranging from 100 engine horsepower up to 142 horsepower. Andrew Sunderman, tactical marketing manager, Fendt Tractors for AGCO North America, says that one of the first things you’ll notice when you walk up to the Fendt 300 series is the Fendt cargo loader.

“It has become known as the sturdy, easy-to-use loader that really allows customers to have the precision they need in order to make sure they are operating in the right way, It also provides easy controls to our new FendtONE operator interface,” he explains in the video below. “You’ll also notice a cab that provides great visibility out the front of the tractor.”

All of the tractors in the series are powered with a 4.4L AGCO Power engine that works in unison with the Fendt tractor management system (TMS), automatic maximum load control, and Fendt stepless VarioDrive continuously variable transmission (CVT). As Sunderman explains, this is for optimum power, fuel efficiency, and machine life.

Currently, pricing is not available for the 300 series, but it will be available in the coming weeks and months as it hits market.
