Bourgault introduces new Paralink hoe drill models with multiple opener options

Bourgault Industries has announced two new hoe drills: the 3330 Standard Edition solid frame and the 3335 Quick Depth Adjust frame.

Robert Fagnou, marketing specialist with Bourgault, gives details of the new Paralink Hoe Drill lineup’s available opener options.

Starting with the PLS or the paralink single; a two-to-one opener, which some may be very familiar with because it’s the original with a few modifications. The second new opener is the PLX (paralink extreme) — a one-to-one opener— which contours more closely to land and is a great option for hilly land. The PLD (paralink duo) rounds out the new lineup and has dual knives.

The new openers suit field conditions that range from potentially rough seedbeds to hilly conditions.

The PLX and PLD options are available for the 3330 SE model and the 3335 is available with all three opener options. Fagnou also mentions the new AccuSet option that gives farmers the ability to adjust their seeding depth on the go through a convenient app on their phone.

The PLS and PLX will be available this year and full production of the PLD is expected for 2021.
