Kinze rolls out slimmer Mach Till high-speed discs

Two years after it launched its Mach Till high-speed disc, Kinze returned to the National Farm Machinery Show (NFMS) last month with slimmer, second-generation versions of the machine.

Best described as “hybrid horizontal tillage,” Kinze is introducing three new configurations of the high-speed disc that features a narrow transport design to allow farmers to transport the units from field-to-field easily.

In this video interview, Kinze sales director Eric Broadbent notes that the machine will now be offered in a three-section frame in 30-foot and 36-foot sizes that fold for transport down to 13 feet, 2 inches. A 41-foot size will fold down to 16 feet.

The new offering was driven by customer feedback, notes Broadbent. Farmers asked Kinze to “trim it down a little bit” to help them move down narrow roadways and move from farm-to-farm more efficiently. With five different machines in the lineup, the company will also now be able to match better disc size with the horsepower farmers have available.

The new Mach Till will be in the field for spring 2020.
