Case IH launches speed-tiller high-speed disc

Case IH has launched a speed-tiller high-speed disc, which can be found throughout North America heading into the growing season.

Dave Long, global product manager with Case IH, joins RealAgriculture in the video below to highlight some of the specs of the speed tiller models 465 and 475.

Long says the 465 is available in nine different sizes in a 3-point mount configuration, while the trailing version, the 475, is available in three different sizes — 21-, 31-, and 41-feet.

“The speed tiller 465 and 475 are all about productivity and versatility, for our farmers and our customers. Doing that with the solid agronomics of it that our customers expect,” explains Long. “So uniformity in our seedbed floor, uniformity in that seedbed soil profile, and an excellent finish.”

Since the implement can be found in sizes 5.7-feet and up to 41-feet, there is a wide range of prices. The 21-feet disc that was shown at the National Farm Machinery Show retails for $96,000.
