G-Mac’s AgTeam has entered into an agreement to merge Cavalier Agrow Ltd. (“Cavalier”) into G-Mac’s AgTeam, bringing together two long- standing crop input retailers in Saskatchewan’s agriculture sector.

Once combined, the two businesses will have 14 locations and 130 employees in communities across Saskatchewan from as far north as Meadow Lake and as far south as Leader.

Founded in 1999, Cavalier sells seed, chemical, inoculants, liquid fertilizer, and agronomic guidance at four locations in northwest Saskatchewan. G-Mac’s AgTeam has nine retail locations and one distribution centre throughout west-central Saskatchewan, with the corporate head office at Kindersley.

“I am honored to be trusted to continue the great work Martin and Monique Detillieux committed over the years to make Cavalier what it is today,” says Garth MacDonald, president and CEO of G-Mac’s AgTeam. “I’m excited for the opportunities the merged companies will have in the future, to serve our farm customers, with the continued great service and teams’ customers have relied on in the past. The merger will provide our customers with access to enhanced products and services while continuing to focus on leading with agronomy, adding value to our customers’ farm operations.”
