Camso brings high speed conversion tracks to Case IH combines

Look for speedier tracked combines this fall as Camso brings its Conversion Track System – CTS High Speed — to Case IH combines across North America.

After successfully launching CTS High Speed on John Deere S Series combines, Camso announced earlier this month at the National Farm Machinery Show at  Louisville, Kentucky, that the track system will be available for Case IH 7, 8, and 9 series combines in 2019.

CTS High Speed allows tracked harvesting machines to reach road speeds similar to wheeled combines with its integrated final drive system, which matches the right gear to the right speed, allowing combines to move faster from field to field.

In this interview, Martin Lunkenbein, Camso’s service and aftermarket sales executive director, explains that CTS High Speed features an integrated final drive to achieve speeds up to 23 mph, similar to a wheeled combine. This 100 percent bolt-on solution takes only a couple of hours to install and provides a larger footprint that reduces ground pressure by 70 percent. CTS High Speed comes with 36-inch wide, high-traction tracks.

Lunkenbein also discusses the success of Camso’s certified remanufactured tracks and wheels program and its credit incentive offer on new tracks in return for a used track core.
