Lloyd out as Dairy Farmers of Ontario general manager and CEO

As of yesterday, January 31, 2019, general manager and CEO, Graham Lloyd, is no longer with Dairy Farmers of Ontario, the producer organization has confirmed.

According to a spokesperson, the board will be appointing an acting general manager shortly.

In the meantime, the board and directors will continue to lead the organization and work to support both staff and producers, the spokesperson says.

Lloyd stepped in as general manager in May, 2017, and has led the organization through considerably difficult times regarding supply management access on a national scale though the USMCA (NAFTA 2.0) trade deal, and a revamping of Canada’s Food Guide that saw dairy lose its place as a food group.
