There is not a farm in North America that would refuse a major influx of cash if it was awarded to them. There’s cash to get you by, and then there is generational, life-altering cash.
This week, the United States Powerball jackpot reached $1.5 billion, and the winning ticket was printed in South Carolina. It is hard to get your mind wrapped around winning $1.5 billion, but I’m sure all of us could find some uses for it around the farm.
This week on twitter there were some farmers dreaming of what the jackpot would do for their operation in some very serious ways and, of course, some humour worked in as well. Here is a collection of the best tweets I saw on the Ag-Powerball dreaming.
If you have your own, we would love to hear it. Send us an email at [email protected]
With some carry forward losses, guess who wouldn’t need to pay any taxes on a billion dollars…..
