McCain Foods announces new Canadian division president

The Canadian division of McCain Foods has a new president, as the company recently announced Danielle Barran will take on the top role.

McCain Foods, a Canadian company known for its frozen fries, employs approximately 20,000 people over six continents, with global sales in excess of $9 billion

According to her LinkedIn, Barran was previously with the J.M. Smucker Company (Smuckers) for 16 years. She will be in charge of the Canadian commercial businesses side of the McCain company.

With an extensive background in the consumer-packaged goods industry, Barran will lead the company next stage of strategic development.

She will be a tremendous asset to both our Canadian business and our North American senior leadership team,” Jeff DeLapp, president of McCain Foods North America says. “Under Danielle’s leadership, the Canadian team will continue to foster strong customer relationships and drive innovation, further enabling the leadership position of the company and our commitment to bringing joy to families across Canada.”

Barran started her new position on August 20, 2018.
