Former Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall has landed an adviser gig working with agri-food and energy clients for a law firm in Calgary.

Wall is joining Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP as a special adviser.

“We are excited to be able to offer our clients his strategic insights, particularly in the energy and agri-food businesses where Brad has exceptional understanding of the inextricable links among the political, business and trade spheres,” said Osler managing partner and chief executive Doug Bryce in a statement on Tuesday.

Wall, who hails from Swift Current, will be based in Osler’s Calgary office, which prompted a tweet from Alberta Premier Rachel Notley:

Of note, Osler has represented Kinder Morgan in its effort to expand the Trans Mountain pipeline through B.C.

Scott Moe replaced Wall as the leader of the Saskatchewan Party and Premier of Saskatchewan in February.
