Stand out above the crop with Krone’s new forage harvesters

Krone has unveiled its new line-up of forage harvesters, equipped with a unique feature — a scissor-lift cab.

Through the push of a single button, the operator can raise the entire cab 70cm, allowing a better view of a tall crop, and the trailer operating beside it. Additionally, the move reduces noise levels, improves field-of-view and reduces operator strain by freeing “operators from driving up against a full-width wall of crop all day long”.

The cab, available on the BiG X 680, 780, and 880 was on display at Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany this year. It is expected the North American market will see some models in 2018, with a full roll-out in 2019.
