Case IH dealer showcases precision technology and celebrates Canada150 at the same time

Canadians across the country are celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday in unique ways. Some of you may have enjoyed a local Canadian wine, increased your maple syrup consumption or planned a special Canadian holiday, but how about planting a corn maze that showcases your pride in Canada from the sky?

Kucera Farm Supply Limited, a family owned Case IH dealer in Southwestern Ontario, worked with a local grower, putting some precision planting tech to work, planting a very large Canada 150 logo in a Ontario corn field.

“People have loved the idea of the corn maze design and I am very proud of our tech team to make this happen,” mentioned Mark Malott, store manager in Chatham for Kucera. “We had to get it right the first time. It’s turned out great. Just like farming, we had only one chance to plant it right.”

While letters, numbers and shapes might be a little more complicated than a typical corn field, the results show the capabilities of the electric drive meter that Kucera dealerships sell with their planters.

In addition to #Canada150, Kucera is also celebrating its 60 year anniversary of operation in the Ontario market. The company was started by Steve and Frank Kucera and is one of the few family-owned dealerships remaining.
