RealAg Radio, Jan 12: A Learning Attitude, Water Regulations & Outgoing Canola Council President Looks Back

It’s our fourth and final day at the Crop Production Show in Saskatoon, as Jim Hale, farmer from Lancer, Sask., joins Shaun as co-host for today’s radio program (Thanks to a storm moving through the prairies, Kelvin’s lost in airspace somewhere, flying between Saskatoon, Toronto and Calgary to get to Winnipeg.)

After breaking down today’s news and some notes from the trade show, Peter Johnson, one of the speakers at Crop Week, stops in to chat about looking beyond your local area for ideas on growing a better crop and Quill Lakes-area farmer Myles Thorpe drops by to chat about proposed water management rule changes in Saskatchewan.

Patti Miller, outgoing president of the Canola Council of Canada and soon-to-be chief commissioner of the Canadian Grain Commission, discusses her transition and we wrap up with this week’s edition of Wheat Pete’s Word.
