Your Water Trough is Calling — Float Sends Text Alerts of Low Water

Wouldn’t it be nice to know if you were low on water well before you headed to the field?

Chris Sobchuk, of Allen Leigh Securities, distributors of CowCam and more, shows Shaun Haney how this latest gadget not only measures when a trough is low or gone dry, but also alerts you via text message as to when it happens.

Check out the video below for a quick run-through of what this sensor monitors, as well as how many cell phones can receive alerts that water levels have dipped.

(Editor’s note: We’d also like one that lets you know when pipes/water bowls are freezing…is that possible? Ugh, winter.)
