Another Ag Excellence conference is in the books.  It was actually the first one that I have ever attended and it was a great time.  One of the unique aspects of the conference is that there is such a wide swath of producers in terms of the Canadian geography but also genre of production.  From across Canada producers attending that represented potato growers, feedyards, broadacre cash croppers and dairy production to just name a few.

The conference featured some heavy learning, lots of fun and some great ice cream (more on that in the interview).

At the end of the conference I spoke with Heather Watson, Executive Director, Farm Management Canada about the conference.  What made it successful, how nutty was the family feud game and how good was the ice cream.
