Canola Straight Cutting is the Focus of BASF Webinar Hosted by Shaun Haney

Canola growers across Western Canada are continually searching for ways to raise yields in the most efficient manner.  Growers continue to push to achieve this objective and will even develop production techniques that many people thought was impossible a relatively short time ago.

Apparently interest in straight cutting is definitely growing. According to last years IPSOS study, 74% of canola growers surveyed have an interest in straight cutting at least some of their canola.

Leguee Farms of Weyburn, Saskatchewan explains the grower attitude towards straight cutting on their blog, “I can confidently say we will try more acres next year. It may be a little slower than picking up swaths, but if I can avoid sitting in that stupid swather, it’s all worth it.”
