Rob Smith: We Need An Event to Bring All Canadian Cattle Stakeholders Together

This August the Canadian beef industry is about to embark on a new opportunity for all stakeholders to congregate.  Enabled by the national beef strategy, a new national meeting is being organized and it will take place August 9-11 at the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino in Calgary, Alberta.

There are many cattle events throughout the year, but none that are truly national in scope and cover all the different levels of the value chain, from ranchers to packers.

Register for the Conference

Shaun Haney had the opportunity to chat with conference co-chair and Canadian Angus Association CEO Rob Smith about the conference and why he thinks if you are in the beef industry you need to consider attending this inaugural event.
