Lynn Jacobson: AFA Looks To Build Its Representation of Alberta Farmers

Across Canada there are several general farm organizations that attempt to tackle the issues impacting farmers as a whole. Ontario has the OFA, Manitoba has KAP and Saskatchewan has APAS — all speaking for farmers, but with different representation and funding models.

I was able to speak to AFA president Lynn Jacobson about the history of the organization, the potential for membership growth and what issues the group is tackling right now for Alberta farmers.
