Saskatchewan Cattlemen’s Association Announces Ryder Lee as New CEO

Ryder Lee CCAThe Saskatchewan Cattlemen’s Association today announced that Ryder Lee will take the role of Chief Executive Officer.

Lee (@ryder_lee) has lived and worked in Ottawa for the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association since 2005, where he focused on animal care and domestic agriculture policy. He was also a driving force behind the renewal process of the Canadian Code of Practice for the Care and Handling of Beef Cattle.

“Ryder is an excellent fit for this position.” said SCA Chair Bill Jameson in a release. “He brings experience with many of the issues of importance to Saskatchewan cattle producers, contacts within the industry in Canada and abroad and he is from a Saskatchewan ranch so he has that personal connection to the industry.”

“It is a good time to have cattle to sell but there are always areas that can be improved.” said Lee, “I am excited to be moving back to my home province to continue working for cattle producers of Saskatchewan.”
