Making a Re-Spray Decision in IP Beans: When is it Too Late?

Giant ragweedA sound weed control program for IP soybeans takes planning. From pre-emerge options, to managing the weed spectrum, to proper follow up scouting and evaluation, a well-planned weed control strategy is effective at keeping fields as weed-free as possible.

But things don’t always go exactly according to plan, do they? As Melody Robinson and Aaron McQueen, of Clark Agri-Service, point out in this video, sometimes the wheels fall off or you miss the optimal window and a re-spray is necessary.

In this interview, we follow Robinson and McQueen to the field to scout for problem weeds, gauge crop stage and weed stage and get tips on timing of a re-spray and develop a strategy for next year.
