TechTour: Manage Mud with the Roto Mud Scraper

For anyone who has ever had to seed in wet or very wet conditions, mud is a four letter word. For those in heavy, sticky clays, mud is also synonymous with a poor planting job, often gumming up the equipment and messing up the seed bed. While there’s no point in pushing hard when it’s very wet, sometimes even just a wee bit of mud on the packer wheels can really mess up the depth consistency on a seeding job.

Enter the Roto Mud Scraper — a made-in-Manitoba invention — that won innovation awards last year and caught many farmers’ attentions on the trade show circuit this year. Mark Devloo, who invented the product, joins Shaun Haney in this edition of TechTour, to talk about the Roto Mud Scraper.

Have you entered the TechTour contest? You can win a light package for the sprayer!

From where Devloo got the idea from, to how the product line has evolved in just one year, to which equipment lines this product works best for, check out the video interview below for more from the TechTour!
