New Holland will be making its new Roll-Belt 560 Round Baler available in a few months. The baler has some significant upgrades from previous models, including ActiveSweep pickups, bale-slice systems, monitor choices and a specialty crop option.
According to New Holland, the ActiveSweep pickups will increase the capacity of the machine by 20% and are available in both a 60-inch, 6-bar and 82-inch, 5-bar pickup, while the premium laced belts have improved tensile strength, with the belts featuring a spliceless, “endless” design. The RB560 also has the option to be equipped with the Bale-Slice system, which increases bale density by up to 14%
In addition to the aforementioned changes, the RB560 also totes a migration of twine handling, as the twine is no longer located on the side of the machine. Now, both twine and net-wrap will be readily accessible at the front of the baler. The baler also comes in a “Specialty Crop Option” with greater durability for those hard-to-handle crops.
