Sarah Foster of 20/20 Seed Labs Talks About Seed Quality In Chile

Canola is big business in Alberta, so the spread of canola diseases like blackleg, clubroot and most recently, aster yellows is taken very seriously by both industry and producers. How those diseases are transmitted and spread becomes a source of discussion and speculation as well. At this point it becomes incredibly important to separate fact from fiction.

At this year’s FarmTech conference, Sarah Foster of 20/20 Seed Labs addressed some of those speculations, specifically regarding the quality of seed grown in Chile and whether or not it’s “safe” to use. Shaun Haney spoke to her there.
