Canola School – Early Detection is Key In Clubroot Management

Clubroot is gaining traction in Alberta and continues to spread each year. The first line of defense against the spread of clubroot is awareness. That has to include information on identification and prevention in order to be truly effective. That’s why events like the Canola Galla are important. The event was all about getting producers informed about all aspects of clubroot — from when to scout, what to look for and, then, what to do if you do find it and even if you don’t but live in an area where the disease has been found.

The event was co-hosted by The Canola Council of Canada, Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development, the Alberta Canola Producers Commission, and Innovotech.
