RealWeatherWatch – Will Dry Conditions In the West Carry On Into Spring?

This winter was unusually mild over most of the west this year. Although the lack of bitterly cold temperatures was more than welcome for most of us, we could all agree that we could have done with some more moisture. Over a large portion of the prairies, there was a real lack of snow cover this winter. The truth is that the winter months are usually the driest months out west but where are we at in terms of seasonal precipitation? More importantly, what can we expect over the next few months?

It just seems crazy that on March 19th its 26 degrees celcius in Winnipeg.

I spoke to Meteorologist Gina Ressler of the Weather Network about those questions when I reached her at the Weather Network Office in Ontario.
