Cattlemen’s Young Leaders Program Spotlight: Fawn Jackson

There can be no underestimating the importance of a mentor in your life. Head knowledge is important, but the ability to apply that knowledge in the right way is something only life can teach you. Being able to walk with someone who’s been there can provide you with all of the benefits of that experience. That’s why mentoring programs are so valuable. Partnering young professionals with industry experts provides a two way exchange of information that can provide new perspectives to someone who’s been in the field for a while and valuable life experience to someone who’s just learning the ropes.

The Cattlemen’s Young Leaders Program does just that. It’s a mentoring program created by the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association to help young leaders in the industry develop themselves and in turn, benefit the industry. Over the next few weeks, RealAgriculture will spotlight some of those young leaders, the first of which is Fawn Jackson, the Program Coordinator of the Cattlemen’s Young Leaders program.
