One of the great things about attending the NCBA convention is that you get a chance to hear what some of the NCBA analysts an staff have to say about the industry. I was very fortunate to get a chance to talk with Gregg Doud.
Gregg Doud is the Chief Economist at the National Cattlemans Beef Association (NCBA). Gregg is a highly respected analyst of the cattle industry and I was fairly fortunate to get a chance to chat with him. We chatted about the economic outlook for the cattle industry and what impact country of origin labelling is having on the US, Canada and Mexico. I was especially interested in Gregg’s opinion on COOL and the impact it is having on the US value chain.
